Circor Aerospace, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Circor International, Inc. (NYSE: CIR), has acquired Castle Precision Industries (“CPI”).

Based in Sylmar, California, CPI is a manufacturer of landing gear components, actuation systems and sub-systems and is a provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the commercial and military aerospace markets. CPI has more than 20 years of experience in providing landing gear components and repair solutions for commercial aircraft, including the Boeing MD80, 717, 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777 platforms. CPI also has extensive experience in providing aftermarket landing gear component solutions for military aircraft such as the F-18, F-16, F-5, and C-17 platforms. CPI will become a part of Circor Aerospace, a leading manufacturer of fluid controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, fuel systems, actuation systems and landing gear for the commercial and military aerospace markets.

Based in Slidell, Louisiana, Windward is a designer and manufacturer of sophisticated hydraulic and pneumatic components and mechanical accessories for military ground vehicles. Windward services multiple branches of the U.S. Department of Defense on major armored fighting vehicle and armored personnel carrier platforms. The Company also provides sophisticated hydraulic components for the down-hole oil & gas markets.

Based in Wichita Falls, Texas, Magic Aire is a wholly owned subsidiary of Carrier Corporation, the world’s largest HVAC systems and solutions company. Magic Aire is a specialist in the design and manufacture of direct expansion and hydronic air supply systems for schools, hospitals, stadiums, airports, condominium buildings and other commercial facilities. The Company also manufactures air handlers, evaporator coils, blower coils, fan coils and unit ventilators.

Located in Santa Barbara, California, AIS is a designer, provider and integrator of high technology product solutions for weapons stations, weapons systems fire control and stabilization, power distribution and management, vetronics/electronics and C4I systems. AIS has provided products for a variety of major air, land and sea defense platforms including the F16, C130, HMMWV, AAV, LAV and DDG/CG/LSD class ships. AIS will become a part of the Moog Space & Defense Group.

Located in Wichita, Kansas, KTR is an FAA certified repair station that provides complete overhaul, exchange and repair services for flight critical aircraft components such as flight controls, landing gear, braking systems and actuators. KTR serves the general aviation and piston powered aircraft markets.

Based in Westport, Connecticut, First Aviation Services is a supplier of aircraft components, repair and overhaul services, third party logistics and inventory management services to the aviation industry worldwide. Customers include commercial airlines, air cargo companies, fleet operators, fixed base operators and the government.

Pursuant to the terms of the agreement,Rockwell Collins acquired all outstanding shares of ITAC in a cash transaction worth $38 million.
